Mrs. Lina Pradhan, Executive Director of Samtec Tools and Accessories Pvt. Ltd., brings a unique blend of engineering expertise, global experience and leadership to the organisation. Growing up in the USA, Lina was inspired by her father's civil engineering business and her family's dedication to community service.

Her passion for maths & science led her to pursue Electrical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). She began her career at American Electric Power, where she worked with large manufacturing clients and engineering teams. She later joined her family business, Modi Engineering & Land Surveying, PC, where she took on the role of Managing Engineer, leading teams on design and construction projects. These experiences built her confidence and developed her leadership style.

At Samtec, her leadership combines structure, empathy and forward thinking; helping the organisation adapt and grow in a rapidly evolving industry. Lina leads the company’s financial strategy, drives system modernisation, and fosters a culture of collaboration and transparency. As a woman working in the manufacturing sector, she actively champions and inspires young women to explore careers in engineering.
